So we had our very first halo-halo experience!! Bob and Jean took us to show us what it was like. They really like it but it wasn't our favourite.
Halo-halo is made with ice in the bottom and then one or two kinds of ice cream (usually ube) and then all kinds of toppings!! Including: corn flakes, ube paste, mango, jackfruit, peaches, nata de coco (which is the gel-like fruit of a coconut here that never goes hard inside), jello kind of stuff, sweet corn (like cream corn kind of) and lots of other things! Then after that they pour milk over top. Either evaporated or sweet condensed milk.
You mix it all together and eat it like this.
None of us really liked it except for Dad. Melissa and Whitney just picked out all the toppings and ate it that way. Only ice, milk and ice cream. Bob finished the rest of mine and Jeremy's. He really likes it!

Well, good on ya for 'trying' it! I remember hearing about Halo-Halo when we were there, but I'm thankful we didn't get the opportunity to try it! UBI ice cream was yummy, though!
I agree...the icecream and ice and sugary milk was very tasty....:)
